
Community Service Club
For Grades 6-12; Register below to attend our monthly Community Service Clubs, where you'll either make a craft to donate to a local charity or help Teen Librarian Alex prepare for programs, for 1 hour of community service credit!
Program Teen Volunteers
For Grades 9-12; Volunteer to set up, clean up and help during our children's STEAM craft programs. To volunteer, email Teen Librarian Alex at acivorelli@goldcoastlibrary.org to reserve your spot. There is a maximum of 2 teen volunteers per program, first come, first served, and you will receive 2 hours of community service credit!
Community Service At Home
For Grades 6-12; If you have a busy schedule and can't make it to the library to volunteer, you can still earn community service by making cards for hospitalized kids at home and donating them back to the library. To learn more, visit the website www.goldcoastlibrary.org/young_adults.

For Grades 6-12
Make cute and spooky Halloweeen lanterns using a mason jar, tissue paper and mod podge, plus a tea light to make it glow!

For Grades 6-12
Help Teen Librarian Alex set up and decorate the Library Annex for the upcoming Pumpkin Decorating program. You'll also get to decorate a small pumpkin to donate to a local nursing home! Every volunteer will receive an hour of community service for their efforts.
Please note that you must bring a small pumpkin to this program!

For Grades 6-12
Join an instructor from Sharper Training Solutions in this hands-on workshop on learning the fundamentals of a basic coding language using HTML to create web pages and applications.

For Grades 6-12
Building on the skills learned in Session I, this hands-on workshop will have students develop a more advanced project using CSS (Cascading-Style Sheet), including visual layouts.
Please note that participants must attend Session I in order to register for Session II.
