A Taste of the Irish: Cooking Workshop

Join Simply Creative Chef Rob Scott for an online cooking workshop on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm!

Chef Rob will be sharing four great recipes and tons of tips and tricks. On the menu are Irish Soda Bread Biscuits, Corned Beef & Cabbage in a Slow Cooker, Mint Chocolate Chip Brownies, and Peppermint Ice Cream Shake.

To participate in this Facebook Live workshop and receive emailed copies of the recipes, register under the Hanson Public Library’s Calendar of Events at Registered participants will be emailed copies of the recipes and access the workshop on the Hanson Public Library's Facebook page ( 10 minutes before the workshop begins.

Hygge at Home: Spring Wreath DIY (Adults)

Hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) is a Danish concept encompassing coziness and the small comforts of life. As we spend more time at home, embrace hygge this spring and make a gorgeous floral wreath to decorate your home!

Pick up a DIY kit with supplies (you will need a glue gun) and then join us on Friday March 19th at 7:00pm on Zoom for instructions.

April Teen Book Box

Wish it was Christmas every month? Now it can be with the Hanson Public Library's new subscription box service: Teen Book Box! Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for a Teen Book Box each month. Each box will include a new library book, treats, crafts, and more!
2. Pick up your box at the Hanson Library the first week of the month. Once you get home, open your surprise! You'll have to return the library book at the end of the month, but you get to keep everything else.  
3. Repeat: return the book and pick up your next month's box!

Supplies are limited.

Sign up for the April boxes will open on Monday March 15th.

Boxes will be available for pickup on Monday April 5th

Registration will begin on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7:00 AM
