Learn the mythology and history of dragons and make a flying Dragon step-by-step with a teacher from Pop Up Art School in this virtual Zoom workshop. Using a PDF template you’ll create scaly textures with marker, then color your Dragon with markers or paint. Attach string to the finished dragon for a mythical addition to hang in your room.

Join Heather from Hands on Nature for an interactive Zoom session about backyard birds! In this program kids will learn about the local birds in our yards and how to start identifying them. Learn which birds are common in Massachusetts and which ones are fun to study! We will learn their songs as well, and will be able to identify some by the end of the program. This is such a great time to observe our local birds, as their nests are full, their eggs have hatched, they are defending their territories, and singing more than usual! Instructions will be included for making some simple feeders at home to attract local birds, along with a sighting list of our 10 most common backyard birds, so you can see which ones you can find!
