Stories in the Stars

Do you know the stories of the constellations (groups of stars that form imaginary outlines or patterns)? For centuries, people of all different cultures have made connections between the shapes they see in the stars and the stories of their lives or beliefs.

Hear an example of a story and see its corresponding constellation, then work on your own imaginary one. Want to tell the story of your pet gecko? Want to make up a story about a unicorn that lives in Marlborough? It's up to you. Write your short tale, name your constellation, and start connecting the dots to create a unique work of art.

Grades 6 and up. Please pre-register.
