Arduino Coding & Robotics

Arduino Coding & Robotics is a group that meets weekly during the school year.   We work on projects that incorporates Arduino controller boards and other electronic components.  As part of the class the children are taught some basic concepts of C++ programming required to operate an Arduino board. 

The Fall session meets every Monday in the Makerspace until the end of June.

Open to students 12 through 17 years of age.  Registration is required.

The Massachusetts Library Collaborative's 50+ Job Seekers Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6pm to 8pm, via Zoom. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "Encore Career", this networking group program is perfect for you! Remember, 85% of jobs are found through networking!

Join us in a professional forum for networking with peers in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to developing new relationships and developing skills and strategies to help in your career transition. Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Participating on a regular basis will give job seekers the many tools and strategies needed for a successful job search.

Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Deborah is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur. She transitioned to executive coaching over 12 years ago. Deborah has coached with Harvard Business School Executive Education programs and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She has been trained or certified in a variety of coaching models and assessment tools. Deborah has facilitated 50+ job seekers networking groups since 2016.

STEAM up your Wednesday at the Medway Library

3rd Graders and up are invited to join us at the Library to explore science, math & art in a fun way.

All Things Tinkercad (3 part series) -  Part 1, "How To Use Tinkercad"

This month, in Part 1,  we will learn "How To Use Tinkercad".   This versatile program is extremely useful for designing 3D objects that can be printed on our 3D printer. 

Part 2, in March, we will explore in detail the different elements of Tinkercad in order to gain a better understanding of the power of this free design tool.

Part 3, in April, we will explore how this versatile program can be used to build virtual Arduino circuits and explore several different sensors in order to gain an understanding of both software and hardware design elements.

Arduino Coding & Robotics is a group that meets weekly during the school year.   We work on projects that incorporates Arduino controller boards and other electronic components.  As part of the class the children are taught some basic concepts of C++ programming required to operate an Arduino board. 

The Fall session meets every Monday in the Makerspace until the end of June.

The Massachusetts Library Collaborative's 50+ Job Seekers Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6pm to 8pm, via Zoom. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "Encore Career", this networking group program is perfect for you! Remember, 85% of jobs are found through networking!

Join us in a professional forum for networking with peers in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to developing new relationships and developing skills and strategies to help in your career transition. Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Participating on a regular basis will give job seekers the many tools and strategies needed for a successful job search.

Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Deborah is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur. She transitioned to executive coaching over 12 years ago. Deborah has coached with Harvard Business School Executive Education programs and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She has been trained or certified in a variety of coaching models and assessment tools. Deborah has facilitated 50+ job seekers networking groups since 2016.

This month, in Part 2, we will explore in detail the different elements of Tinkercad in order to gain a better understanding of the power of this free design tool.

Part 3, in March, we will explore how this versatile program can be used to build virtual Arduino circuits and explore several different sensors in order to gain an understanding of both software and hardware design elements.

Join us in a professional forum for networking with peers in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to developing new relationships and developing skills and strategies to help in your career transition. Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Participating on a regular basis will give job seekers the many tools and strategies needed for a successful job search.

Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Deborah is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur. She transitioned to executive coaching over 12 years ago. Deborah has coached with Harvard Business School Executive Education programs and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She has been trained or certified in a variety of coaching models and assessment tools. Deborah has facilitated 50+ job seekers networking groups since 2016.

VIRTUAL: 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group -- Self-Assessment & Transferrable Skills

Online, Tewksbury Public Library, 300 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876

The Massachusetts Library Collaborative's 50+ Job Seekers Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6pm to 8pm, via Zoom. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "Encore Career", this networking group program is perfect for you! Remember, 85% of jobs are found through networking!

Join us in a professional forum for networking with peers in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to developing new relationships and developing skills and strategies to help in your career transition. Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Participating on a regular basis will give job seekers the many tools and strategies needed for a successful job search.

Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Deborah is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur. She transitioned to executive coaching over 12 years ago. Deborah has coached with Harvard Business School Executive Education programs and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She has been trained or certified in a variety of coaching models and assessment tools. Deborah has facilitated 50+ job seekers networking groups since 2016.

Arduino Coding & Robotics
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Arduino Coding & Robotics is a group that meets weekly during the school year.   We work on projects that incorporates Arduino controller boards and other electronic components.  As part of the class the children are taught some basic concepts of C++ programming required to operate an Arduino board. 

The Fall session meets every Monday in the Makerspace until the end of June.

Open to students 12 through 17 years of age.  Registration is required.
