Join us in Youth Services to create a clay gnome!

During this workshops, families can explore creativity and learn new techniques. White clay will be used to create two pinch pot and transform to a whimsical gnome by creating visual and tactile texture. Non-toxic acrylic paint will be used and there is no glazing or kiln firing involved.

There is no registration required for this free event and will be available while supplies last. Hope to see you there!

Join Ethan Medeiros, intern with the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance (NECWA) for a free, fun, family presentation on the Diamondback Terrapin, a threatened species of marsh turtle native to our Massachusetts waters.

NECWA is working with local communities to protect and conserve this “diamond in the marsh!”

AHA! Night has offered a meeting place for over 60 community partners on the 2nd Thursday of the month, when artistic expression is everywhere and open to everyone: encouraging fun, provoking-thought and nurturing the soul. Join us and come downtown for your own AHA! moment!

For over 20 years, AHA! 2nd Thursday events have provided community partners with a time and place to shine. AHA!’s collaboration with state, municipal and private funding partners is leveraged to attract local, regional and long-distance visitors to downtown New Bedford, revitalizing the city through a growing creative economy.
