Hearing Seminar-CANCELED

The seminar will be about the importance of having a base line screening performed in an audiology office, the function of hearing and what could happen if poor hearing is left untreated. From there, we talk about hearing loss options including having a phone that dialogue's what the caller is saying, followed by a Q&A and a basic hearing screening called an OAE (otoacoustic emissions) test.  It is a pass/refer screening. The presenter is Annette Morreale, Hearing Health Educator.

Next see the latest  updates of space missions to the moon, Mars, asteroids and Ultima Thule.  Learn about the rare Transit of Mercury occurring this November 11th.  Afterwards we go outside to see the moon, Jupiter and Saturn in a telescope.

For tweens and teens entering grades 7-12 in September.

Participants will learn about filmmaking, from writing to filming to editing.  They will work in small groups to produce their own 3-5 minute film. Space is limited to 15 participants. No fee.
