Join the DoSomething Movement to help reduce waste in our landfills by recycling. For every 10 cans or plastic bottles you recycle, submit a copy of your recycle receipt to bmickowski@oceansidelibrary.com  or to our Instagram page at @olnyteens. We will email  you your certificate once we receive your recycle receipt.  Earn 1 hour of community service for every 10 cans. You keep the money and help save our planet at the same time!  Max of 10 hours.

Virtual Tai Chi

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall prevention—this is an evidence-based fall prevention program in collaboration with the New York State Dept. of Health. A certified Tai Chi instructor, trained by the NYS Dept. of Health and the Tai Chi for Health Institute teaches Tai Chi for Arthritis for people over age 60 (or over age 18 with disabilities). We will meet one day each week, for a total of 16 sessions. Hosted by Nassau Medical Center.
