A Special Need to Recharge: For Moms with Children of Special Needs

“You are only as happy as your happiest child” is an adage that feels true for many of us. Mothers who have that child, the one who needs every ounce of inner strength and patience they have, or the one they worry about the most – need to develop a strong level of inner peace.  Only by working on ourselves, can we be the best Mom that they need us to be. Come connect with others who ‘get it’ at a mindset and energy workshop, created to support you in your quest to be the best mom you can be!

Now We Can Sing Flute Show

“Now We Can Sing” is a moving and inspiring musical event centering on music that was banned to Jewish musicians by the Nazis in 1930’s Germany. It follows these musical artists through that dreadful era as they ultimately migrate to a new land and establish new lives. Flutist Barbara Siesel and singer, songwriter and storyteller Keith Torgan, create the times through the music of Bach, Schumann, Hindemith, Copland, and Gershwin as well as through the cabaret songs of Frederick Hollaender. In this universal work, mastery, passion and self expression transcend the isolation of hatred, racism and intolerance.

Lecture: Jane Austen at the Turn of the Centure
Rural England in the late eighteenth century provided the bucolic backdrop for Jane Austen’s unforgettable novels. Jane was a keen observer of the customs of the rural folk of England. Life in the country had pleasures not easily found in the growing cities. In her short life, Jane would see England well on its way to becoming the first industrialized nation in the world, but she was herself always a woman of the countryside and the people of England’s rural counties and their folkways were treated with much affection.

A Special Need to Recharge

“You are only as happy as your happiest child” is an adage that feels true for many of us. Mothers who have that child, the one who needs every ounce of inner strength and patience they have, or the one they worry about the most – need to develop a strong level of inner peace.  Only by working on ourselves, can we be the best Mom that they need us to be. Come connect with others who ‘get it’ at a mindset and energy workshop, created to support you in your quest to be the best mom you can be!
