Saturday Yoga Series 1

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Connecting movement with our breath links our awareness to the present. Join  Dorothy Scott for a relaxing yet invigorating class that encompasses basic yoga poses which focus on lengthening the body’s muscles, while expanding the joints as we utilize the breath to gain clarity within.  We will begin slowly to gradually prepare the body for deeper asana (poses) and end it by honoring our practice with a relaxing (meditation) sivasana.

Bring a mat, and perhaps a towel and water.  Wear loose fitting clothing. Namaste.

Registration Required. Fee: $15

LOCATION: Meeting Room 1

Aging and Sage-ing

Meredith Zelman Narissi, M.S., BCPP, is a Board-Certified Polarity Therapist, International Presenter, Dancer, Meditation/Yoga Instructor, and Author. Perhaps the aging process can be as asset you your sage-ing...becoming wiser. Information on people who live to 100 or more will also be shared.
