NSPC: The Future is Now: An Architectural Tour of the World

 

In this engaging virtual program, the international traveler, Jasmine Blaze (as played by educational entertainer Martina Mathisen), takes them around the globe to discover the fantastic superstructures that have stunned the world and will leave your audience in awe. Of the one hundred superstructures that stand on our planet today, the first fifty took eighty years in total to build. The second fifty have taken five years! What is happening in architecture today is stunning.In this lecture, your audience can take an architectural tour of the world and see for themselves the unparalleled advances in architecture today. In addition to storytelling, audience participation brings ideas to life.

The North Shore Programming Consortium consists of five local libraries (Bayville, Glen Cove, Gold Coast, Locust Valley and Oyster Bay) that have come together to bring our patrons more of a variety in adult programming in a more cost effective way. Take and Bake: Red, White and Blue Sprinkle Batter Cookies

All of the dry ingredients for these delicious, patriotic cookies will be provided along with a printed recipe and a list of the perishable items you will need.

One kit per household. Kits will be available to be picked up Tuesday, June 27th at 9:30 am.

Registration for OBEN cardholders begins on Friday, May 26 at 9:30 am. Non-residents can register beginning June 20, if space allows. Please sign up with a valid email address.
