Memoirs & Mocktails

Do you love reading diverse memoirs and/or celebrity biographies?

This season experience something new at the library!  Enjoy a non-alcoholic libation (mocktail)  while discussing our monthly memoirs.  We will enjoy a wide variety of memoirs and biographies that may explore food, celebrity, travel and historical figures.  Whether you're drawn to tales of self-reliance, or narratives of resilience and extraordinary adventures. Memoir book club will provide a safe and inclusive space where adult readers can share insights and explore the intricate fabric of human experiences.

Everyone is welcome; enjoy a refreshment and bring your curiosity and passion for compelling life stories to our monthly meetings!  Each meeting, we will  serve a monthly mocktail (with recipe included) and then choose from a list of memoirs to read the following month.

Our October Book:  Opposable Thumbs: How Siskel & Ebert Changed Movies Forever

You may always read another memoir if you prefer to choose your own title when we meet. Copies of the book will be available for check out by the end of September/early October at the Reference Desk.

Disclaimers: We cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens.

Whether you're drawn to tales of self-reliance, or narratives of resilience and extroardinary adventures.

*For planning purposes, online registration is requested.

Our November Book: Taste By Stanley Tucci

You may always read another memoir if you prefer to choose your own title before we meet. Holds available by the end of September/early October at the Reference Desk.

Disclaimers: We cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens.
