Mystery Date with a Book

Escape the ordinary by having a mystery date…with a book, that is. Choose from among the books wrapped in brown paper located on the cart by the Reference Desk. You will not know the identity of your mystery date until you get it home. It may be fiction, non-fiction, funny, informative, a mystery, or heartbreaking. Give your date a chance. You may end up having a great time with something you would otherwise never ventured to read. After reading the book, fill out Rate-Your-Date questionnaire and enter your chance to win a “Mystery Prize.” One winner will be awarded.

Starting: Thursday, October 3rd - Ends: Thursday, October 31st

Six Songs: The Beatles Concert/Lecture (In-Person)

Book Discussion: “Custer” By: Larry McMurtry

Facilitated by Library Director Frank McKenna. This book reassesses and celebrates the life and legacy of the West’s most legendary figure, General George Armstrong Custer.
