ED Talks: When It Rains, It Pours
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join speaker Ed Schroth for the ED Talks Series.

The idiom when it rains, it pours means that when something bad happens other bad things usually happen at the same time.

Downpours and flash flooding are happening more frequently, but what is the culprit? Why are we seeing a second 100 year flood in three years in Maryland, when the west coast is in a moderate to exception drought? It has to do with the local climate’s response to global increases in temperature. Come learn more about why water is one of the most important biological systems and how maintaining water quality impacts us locally and globally.

Please register.
