All of Us PA Research Program Enrollment
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

At the moment, health care is often one-size-fits-all. But imagine a future where your health treatments are tailored to you. That’s the goal of the All of Us Research Program. Sewickley Public Library is partnering with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on the All of Us Pennsylvania Research Program to help make that future possible.

What is the All of Us Research Program? The mission of All of Us is simple: to speed up health research. To do this, we’re asking you to join one million or more people who will share their unique health data (including electronic health records and data collected through online surveys). This information will be added to a database. Researchers can then access this data to conduct thousands of studies on health and disease.

Why should you join? You’ll contribute to research that may improve health for generations to come. There’s no one exactly like you. Your unique health data may help researchers find the next big medical breakthrough. Participation in All of Us is simple and enrollment is taking place in the Community Room on March 13th. You can learn more and make your appointment by going to joinallofuspa.org or by calling 412-383-2737.

Before your appointment, you will complete a series of health surveys and consents. During your on-site appointment, the All of Us team will be available to answer any questions and assist with your registration and collect basic physical measurements, and you may be asked to provide a blood and urine sample and consent to sharing your electronic health records. Once these steps are completed, you will receive a $25 gift card in appreciation of your time and effort. By joining the All of Us Research Program, you could help change the future of health.

Schedule Your Appointment: Enroll in the program by making your appointment today at joinallofuspa.org or by calling 412-383-2737 (or toll free at 1-800-664-0480).

Presented by the Clinical & Translational Science Institute for the All of Us Research Program at the Univeristy of Pittsburgh

Welcome to Tea and Inspiration!

It’s a space where friends gather on the first Thursday of each month to read, reflect, and have elevated conversations. We explore a different theme each month.

Hoping to contribute to the betterment of the world and our com-munity, we share uplifting quotations gleaned from the world’s Scriptures and other wise sources —all over a cup of tea and a sweet tidbit.

So join your hosts, Sewickley neighbors Sharon Eakes, Grace Williams and Judith Washington. Contribute your reading and reflection. If you like, bring a quotation to add to the mix.

January 5 - Eternal Truths
February 2 - Judge Not
