Comic Zone! Make a Springfleld Comic Book

Get your comic published! Come your participating branch library to pick up templates and drawing pencils. Drop off your finished comic at your branch (with name, contact number and permission slip) before Nov. 30th. It will become part of a Springfield City Library comic book. Flash Fiction Contest

Can you tell your tale in 500 words or less? Our Flash Fiction contest is open to all teens. Between Feb 1-28th, submit a short story of 500 words or less to our flash fiction contest. You can write on any subject you like, but if you need inspiration a list of prompts will be available for you on our website! We will choose 2 winners in early March. Teens can submit up to 3 stories. Submit stories in person at the Central Branch Teen Desk, by email at shodge-wetherbe@springfieldlibrary.org, or through Google docs linking to that same address. Healthy Relationships Workshop for Teens

Are you confused about dating? Have questions about understanding your own feelings? Do you want to learn more about healthy relationships? Our four part workshop series will be a safe space to ask these questions. For ages 11-18. Wednesdays Jan. 11, 18, 25 and Feb. 1. From 5-7pm.
