Historian Daniel A. Gagnon will give an Author talk. His book, A Salem Witch: The Trial, Execution, and Exoneration of Rebecca Nurse examines her life and family history. "In the winter of 1692, something terrible and frightening began in Salem Village. Daniel Gagnon vividly recreates 17th century Salem. This book reveals a remarkable woman whose legacy has transformed how the witch hunt has been remembered and memorialized."

Meet the Author: Elena Palladino

Elena Palladino is the author of Lost Towns of the Swift River Valley, the story of the Quabbin Reservoir, Boston water supply, told through the stories of three Swift River Valley residents who had to leave their homes in central Massachusetts so the reservoir could be constructed for metro Boston. The author will talk about her research and writing process and the story of the book, followed by a Q&A. Registration is encouraged!

Need a spot to bring your energetic toddler? Swing by the junior library for a drop in-program! We have special toys specifically picked for toddlers that will be available during this program! Miss Katie will be available to chat and play; guardians must remain with their child during the duration of the program.
