Once Upon a Storytime

For families with children ages 6 & under

This storytime featuring classic fairy tales and other fun stories will also include finger rhymes, songs and FUN! Bring a blanket and meet the librarian on the patio behind the Riverfront Community Center. Masks are required until further notice.

In inclement weather, the storytime will move to Zoom. Please register as a Zoom code will be sent via email at 9:00AM if needed. Registration begins June 10.​

For kids entering grades 1-6

Let’s Build: Beautiful Garden

For kids entering grades 1-6

How does your garden grow? Put your creativity and building skills to the test as we construct great gardens out of Lego® bricks. Green thumb gardeners may participate in person or virtually via Zoom. If you are participating in this challenge from home and do not have Lego® bricks, you may use any building system that you have. Masks will be required until further notice.

This is a dessert fit for royalty! Join Food Explorers to make a no-bake, Chocolate Ganache Tart with homemade Whipped Cream.

You’ll need the following ingredients: Oreos or chocolate graham crackers, butter, heavy cream (1.5 cups), 2 cups of either dark or milk chocolate (or a mixture of both). Chocolate chips or bars of chocolate are both fine. This recipe works best in a pie dish or tart tin. 

Registration with a valid email address is required to receive login information on the day of the Zoom meeting. Registration begins June 21.
