It's a list of novels that she's never heard of before. When she passes along the list to a lonely widower, a connection between two lonely souls is formed, as fiction helps them escape their grief and everyday troubles and find joy again.

Before John Glenn orbited the earth or Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, a group of dedicated female mathematicians known as "human computers" used pencils, slide rules and adding machines to calculate the numbers that would launch rockets, and astronauts, into space. Among these problem-solvers were a group of exceptionally talented African American women, some of the brightest minds of their generation.

Giganta Smalls is the largest drag queen in captivity and is ready to take the world by storm! Based out of the forests of Connecticut, she lights up the stage with her quirky personality and charming performances.

With the help of his cousin and best friend Maritza, he performs the ritual himself, and then sets out to find the ghost of his murdered cousin and set it free. However, the ghost he summons is actually Julian Diaz, the school's resident bad boy, and Julian is not about to go quietly into death.
