Foxboro Strategy Board Game Night

Have a good time and play some strategy board games. Learn, teach and have fun.
We will be playing modern strategy board games that are growing in popularity everywhere. Board gaming is a social pursuit that promotes fun, social interaction, mental challenge with a dose of healthy competition.
You do not need to own any games to take part, group members will bring their own games along for the group to play; this allows people to try many different games to find which ones they enjoy.
There are many different types of games that suit all people and their tastes; these range from short and fast multi-player games to longer, deeper games that require the players to develop strategies to win.
Newcomers are welcome, we will teach people the games and have a wide selection that are suitable for newcomers while still providing a fun and challenging experience. Ages 16+ please.

Sunday Concert Series - Hollow Turtle

Boyden Library Sunday Concert Series Presents -
Hollow Turtle

Since 2012, Hollow Turtle has been crafting songs together and developing a bluegrass style all their own. With Nick Preite on mandolin, Alfie Purcell on guitar, James Cappelletti on banjo, Joe Cappelletti on the upright bass, and Ben Richard sawing the fiddle, they bring a ruckus to a traditional style, while tying it all together with tightly wound vocal harmonies.

An Evening with Ted Reinstein

Boyden Library Presents: An Evening with Ted Reinstein (Before Brooklyn: The Unsung Heroes Who Helped Break Baseball's Color Barrier)

In a sweeping story spanning the six decades during which Black baseball players were banned from the major leagues, we meet the extraordinary Americans from all walks of life who never gave up the struggle to integrate our national pastime and overturn its racist past.  They directly paved the way for Jackie Robinson, but received little fanfare and remained largely anonymous.  Until now.
