Join us this evening for a one-hour gentle fluid yoga class with instructor Sheila Armstrong starting at 7 PM in the Keys Community Room. We will practice asanas (yoga poses) and breathing techniques to come into the present moment, and create more space in our minds and bodies. Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat and a water bottle, and anything else that might make you more comfortable during class - a towel or blanket, blocks (if you have them), or a strap. Masks are optional and this program is suitable for ages 13 and up.
Sheila lives in Milton and is a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and a certified Reiki healer. Her love of yoga started in the late 1990s when she was looking for a way to get grounded after finishing college and starting a new job as a middle school teacher. She believes that anyone can benefit from the calm and presence gained while practicing yoga, and hopes to help people take these benefits with them into their lives off the mat as well.
You must register in advance to attend so please sign up here, and a reminder Email will be sent to you a day or so before the class. Registration opens about 3 weeks beforehand.
