Wise Walks is ideal for active 50+ adults who are interested in a lively and social exercise program. The group will meet at the library and walk between 1-3 miles before returning to the library.  By popular demand, this program will continue year-round! 

Walkers are encouraged to follow county and state health guidelines during the program, including masks and distancing, as applicable.

All of Us PA Program

Join Sewickley Public Library on July 14th or August 1st as we partner with the All of Us Pennsylvania Research Program to improve health for future generations. The mission of All of Us is to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs by creating the right treatment at the right time for the right person. This is called precision medicine and research can help us get there.

By joining the program, you will answer some online surveys and when the All of Us team is at Sewickley Public Library you will be asked to provide basic physical measurements and, blood and urine samples and consent to sharing your electronic health records. Once these steps are completed, you will receive a $25 gift card in appreciation of your time and effort. Together we can improve the health of generations to come.
