The Suzuki Talent Education Partnership (STEP) and the Springfield City Library invite the public to a free multicultural interfaith holiday sing-along . Holiday sing-along will include songs in English, Chinese , Hebrew, German and Spranish,directed by STEP director Lani Bortfeld. The audience is invited to sing along to the music of voices and strings, and add to the spirit of unity as we come together as a community through song. Families are most welcome, and children will be invited to come up and accompany the group for Jingle Bells and Las Navidades, using bells and small Latin percussion instruments.

Springfield Photographic Society

The Springfield Photographic Society was founded in 1937 and is a club made up of people from the photographic novice to the professional who have in common a love of photography. The club’s activities include monthly exhibitions of members’ photos with feedback from other members, presentations from experts outside the club, and workshops where we share our knowledge with one another and work together on image processing. We have local field trips throughout the year where members can take photos together and learn from one another in the field.

SPS meets September through May on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, at 7 p.m.  The 2nd Wednesday is our Exhibition night.  The 4th Wednesday is either a workshop or presentation. All are welcome!

Springfield Photographic Society

The Springfield Photographic Society was founded in 1937 and is a club made up of people from the photographic novice to the professional who have in common a love of photography. The club’s activities include monthly exhibitions of members’ photos with feedback from other members, presentations from experts outside the club, and workshops where we share our knowledge with one another and work together on image processing. We have local field trips throughout the year where members can take photos together and learn from one another in the field.

SPS meets September through May on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, at 7 p.m.  The 2nd Wednesday is our Exhibition night.  The 4th Wednesday is either a workshop or presentation. All are welcome!
