A Memory Café is a welcoming place for people with changes in their memory and their care-partner(s) to come together. Join us at the library on the first Monday of the month, to connect with others over refreshments and an activity.
This month's program is "Reflections: Growing Up" and is presented by a representative from the Connecticut Historical Society. The interactive, conversation-based program uses images, music from the 40s-60s, and hands-on objects such as historic toys to spark reminiscences and conversation.
The Memory Cafés are provided in partnership with Friends of Newtown Seniors, Kristina Lubofsky of Busy Minds Box and The Lutheran Home of Southbury.
