Documenting where your ancestors were born, married, and died is key to piecing together their family story. But with different record keeping systems in each of the U.S. states, finding the records can be a challenge! Join us for a hands-on workshop with Bryna O'Sullivan of Charter Oak Genealogy. We will access and use vital records, church records, gravestones, and more to learn more about someone in your family. Please bring a name or identifying information for an ancestor to trace in this workshop. This program will focus on Connecticut records, but the principles you’ll learn can be applied to research anywhere in the United States. Please be sure to create a FamilySearch account here before our workshop.
This event will take place over Zoom. Registration required. A zoom link will be sent to all particpiants by 3 PM on the day of the event.
