Calling all armchair detectives! You're invited to join us to discuss The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman and help pick our book club book for August! Copies of the book in large print and regular print are available at the library circulation desk. We hope to see you there!
This book club typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month, and new members are always welcome and encouraged to join.
About the book: In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet weekly in the Jigsaw Room to discuss unsolved crimes; together they call themselves The Thursday Murder Club. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.
When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case. As the bodies begin to pile up, can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer, before it’s too late?
Registration: Email Charlie Pope at email@example.com to receive the invitation to this Zoom meeting. Copies of the book in regular print, large print, and audiobook CDs are available to pick up through our lobby service.
