CANCELED: After School Astronomy (Grades 6-12)

***UPDATE: This program has been canceled.***

Asteroids, meteoroids, comets, dust – all are forms of space debris that can impact the Earth, just ask the dinosaur sitting next to you in class.  Ok, there are no dinosaurs alive on Earth anymore – why not?  Join Bryant University Astronomy Instructor Sandi Brenner as we delve into the subject of ‘Planetary Defense’ – how we can help to protect our planet, so we don’t wind up like the dinosaurs.  Learn how to become a Planetary Defender and get ready for NASA’s DART mission to an asteroid system that is targeted for the end of September.

If possible, please bring your Chromebook or mobile device.  Space is limited and registration is required.
