Digital Preservation

Aging baby boomers and millennials whose parents have recently passed are often overwhelmed by what to do with old photographs, memorabilia, important papers, books, wedding gowns, military medals and the wealth of items we keep and which tell the stories of our lives.

In this second of four workshops on archiving your family's memorabilia, archivist Rhonda Chadwick explains how you can preserve old documents, photos, and artifacts digitally, and what you can do with your digital photographs and documents.

This workshop is the second of four planned workshops: The Basics of Archival Storage, Digital Preservation, Organizing Your Materials, and Storytelling. Registrants are not required to attend the whole series, but can pick and choose individual workshops.  Please register for each workshop individually.
