Aging baby boomers and millennials whose parents have recently passed are often overwhelmed by what to do with old photographs, memorabilia, important papers, books, wedding gowns, military medals and the wealth of items we keep and which tell the stories of our lives.

In this final workshop on archiving your family's memorabilia, archivist Rhonda Chadwick helps you find simple ways to tell the stories of your ancestors, themselves, and the story behind items like an 18th century shawl that has been passed down for six generations or the significance of the ticket to a Martin Luther King lecture from 1962.

This workshop is the fourth of a series of four workshops: The Basics of Archival Storage, Digital Preservation, Organizing Your Materials, and Storytelling. Registrants are not required to attend the whole series, but can pick and choose individual workshops.  Please register for each workshop individually.
