Basic Sewing Classes with Rita Trotta (ages 12-19)

As a part of our Sewing Threads of Diversity grant, this class series will start with 6 classes on basic machine sewing which will cover making pajama pants. The last 2 classes will be on inserting zippers. This program and each of its segments is being videotaped and classes will be emailed to participants weekly. Classes will be taught using the Brother CS6000i Sewing Machine. The library has 5 machines available for check-out for these pre-recorded video classes.

Rita Trotta is an experienced artist, working in sewing, knitting, crocheting, and quilting. With a degree in Home Economics from Framingham State, she has been sewing for over 60 years.

This class series is for ages 12-19 only. Registration is required.
