Wildland Firefighters from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Bureau of Fire Control and Forestry will read the Smokey Bear Story, discuss campfire safety, and share some fun facts about Smokey.  Each participant will receive a Smokey Story mini book.

Following the reading, participants will meet Smokey Bear and be invited to tour a Wildland Fire Engine to learn about the tools of the trade.  As supplies last Smokey materials such as wrist bands, bookmarks, pencils, and stickers will be handed out.
