Join John Cilio for a virtual presentation of Connecticut’s Aviation History on Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 pm.  Enjoy hearing some of the stories that unfolded in CT’s rich and perpetual history of aviation innovation.  Covering 17 decades, the program focueses on the many celebrated accomplishments in Connecticut aviation history that helped pioneer early flight and motivate brave flyers. 

John Cilio is a historian focused on mid twentieth-century.  He has published over seven books ranging from women working in WWI and their impact on today's business world to vintage helicopters. He is published in several national and local newspapers/magazines with over 200 articles covering a wide range of topics.  John hails from IBM corporate marketing and is an American Marketing Association Silver Effie winner. He has spoken to large and small audiences in over 60 countries around the world. He lives in Sherman, Connecticut. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
