White-Tailed Deer in Connecticut ~ Virtual Program for Adults

Paul Colburn, Master Wildlife Conservationist, will present on the history of White-tailed Deer in Connecticut and provide an overview of White-tailed Deer habitat, diet, behavior, and reproduction.  It also provides practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our White-tailed Deer population.

Registration begins November 10, online or by calling the library’s Reference Department at 860-652-7720. Registration with a valid email address is required to receive login information on the day of the Zoom meeting.

About the presenter: Paul Colburn is a 2015 graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program (MWCP) and a certified Master Wildlife Conservationist (MWC). The MWCP is a Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) adult education program that trains volunteers in the fields of wildlife management, natural history and interpretation.  Mr. Colburn has provided hundreds of wildlife presentations across the state and participated in several wildlife research projects. Mr. Colburn is an avid outdoorsman, a graduate of Wesleyan University and served honorably in the United States Army.
