Igor Lovchinsky Piano Concert
7:00 PM
The young pianist, Igor Lovchinsky, a Julliard graduate who dazzled our audience in September of 2008 with his virtuosic pianism, is coming back to play Haydn, Rachmaninov, Medtner, and Gershwin for the Library concert series. Please note that this is an evening performance and is scheduled to last for one hour, although judging by the effect on his listeners last time, he may be begged for many encores. Mr. Lovchinsky was described as "mesmerizing and fiery" by the Polish Daily News, and our impression certainly bore that out. Come early and secure a seat.
