FIZZ! BOOM! READ!   ~~2014 Summer Reading Club

Readers birth through teens, are encouraged to register for our summer reading program. This year’s theme is “Fizz, Boom, Read!” for children birth through entering 5th grade, and “Spark a Reaction” for those in grades 6-12.  Registration begins Monday, June 2, and continues throughout the summer.  You’ll receive a registration packet and time log.  Report your reading time and receive a weekly prize and raffle tickets for end-of-the-summer prizes.  The program runs through August 22.

 
—- You can also register for Summer Reading at the Baldwin Pool on Monday, June 16, 23, 30 and July 7 from 1-2 PM and get your picture taken with the library lion.

The Outdoor Classroom visits our library for an exciting, delicious, and edible four-part “Food Scientific” series for children grades K-3!  Registration requested for each session, and a $2.00/child donation requested the day of the program.

· July 28 (Sunny Side Up – Cooking with the Sun) – As a culminating event, each student will make their very own solar-powered oven and test it out by making a s’more!
