Preschool Story Explorers

Join our preschool program where children ages 3-5 can explore stories through songs, retellings, STEM activities and a craft.  Grow your preschooler's love for reading and learning!  No registration required. There will be no storytime on October 5 and November 23.

Bouncing Babies and Books

Brushes Before Bedtime

Join us for a night of family art using various techniques and leave with a masterpiece designed by your entire family! We will provide all the supplies and art smocks...your family provides the creativity and fun! No age limit requirements.  A "how to draw" segment will be included in each program.  Registration required.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting

Members of the Baldwin Board of Trustees are volunteers who donate their time and service to the library and it’s role in the community. The Board sets policy, fiscal goals and strategic direction in support of the Library’s mission and vision.

Baldwin Borough Public Library's Board of Trustees is composed of seven citizens of the community, appointed by Baldwin Borough Council. They serve 3-year terms and may be reappointed. The Board meets monthly at 7pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Library and all meetings are open to the public.

PBS KIDS Family Creative Learning with Ruff Ruffman- January 9, 16, 23 and 30

PBS KIDS Family Creative Learning is a series of workshops that focus on learning through creative play and exploration! The STEM based, multi-generation engagement program is designed for kids ages 5-8 (younger/older siblings are welcomed) and are designed to activate creative and collaborative learning using PBS KIDS media and resources. Each session is divided into four areas: EAT, EXPLORE, MAKE and SHARE! Families will enjoy a delicious catered dinner, work together on a fun Ruff Ruffman themed project and share with one another.

  • Session 1: Mix It Up! Playing with Mixtures-Jan 9
  • Session 2: Material World! Investigating Material Science-Jan 16
  • Session 3: Stick or Slide! Exploring Force & Motion-Jan 23
  • Session 4: Build it Up! Learning about Structures-Jan 30

Facilitators from WQED and Adventure Outdoors will be available to instruct and support families as they work together. This is a grant-funded program sponsored by The Jefferson Regional Foundation. Registration for the Jan 9 workshop will include all four workshops.  Participants must be able to attend all four workshops.
