John, Paul, George & Ben

Presented by the Colonial PA Plantation

Wednesday, July 1st @ 10:30am

In honor of the Summer Reading Program for 2015, “Heroes,” the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation is proud to present John, Paul, George & Ben By Lane Smith

“Once there were four lads: John [Hancock], Paul [Revere], George [Washington], and Ben [Franklin]. Oh yes, there was also Tom [Jefferson], but he was annoyingly independent and hardly ever around. These lads were always getting into trouble for one reason or another. In other words, they took a few...liberties. And to be honest, they were not always appreciated. This is the story of five little lads before they became five really big Founding Fathers.”

This program features a reading of the book John, Paul, George & Ben. Then participants will get to try on colonial clothes, play with colonial toys and games, and sign their own name—or draw a picture—on the Declaration of Independence with a real quill pen! Then they can finish with a craft activity, and discover what special traits THEY have that can help them accomplish great things! John, Paul, George & Ben is designed for ages 5—9.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Spots are limited!

Provided by the Colonial Plantation, this program features a reading of the book John, Paul, George & Ben. Then participants will get to try on colonial clothes, play with colonial toys and games, and sign their own name—or draw a picture—on the Declaration of Independence with a real quill pen! Then they can finish with a craft activity, and discover what special traits THEY have that can help them accomplish great things!
