Chaperone     by Laura Moriarty

Fifteen year old Louise Brooks, not yet a movie star, or a symbol of the “modern woman”, or even a Ziegfeld girl, needs a chaperone for the summer of 1922.  Cora Carlisle, wife and  mother, is looking for a way to fill her newly emptied nest.  The summer they spend together will change them both.
