13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson and How They Croaked: the awful ends of the awfully famous by Georgia Bragg and Kevin O'Malley. Both these books will be in "Battle of the Books" in September 2013. Read one or both for the discussion. Books will be available near the Circulation Counter starting June 3. At this meeting books will be distributed for study over the summer, and a schedule of July and August book discussions and gaming sessions will be distributed. If you want to be a member of the team, please come to this session or contact me before the end of June in order to receive all information and some copies of our books. You can pick up a form at The Youth Board Meeting on May 22 or at the Adult Reference Desk throughout the month of June. Bring the form to this meeting. Refreshments.

Your or your team can reserve a parking space to decorate with chalk. Photos will be taken of all entries and pictures will be posted in the Teen Room. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of catagories. Refreshments. Teens will assemble in the library Meeting Room at 5 pm for materials. Reservation for your parking space will be taken starting June 17. Rain date of July 19. Registration will start on Wednesday, May 22.

Pick your games. We will have a Call of Duty on the main screen in the Meeting and a video game in the teen room on our TV as well as Board Games. For your special enjoyment, we will have the laser tag system for extra fun in the library. Refreshments. Teens will assemble in the Meeting Room at 5:30. Doors lock at 6 pm. All teens must be picked up by 7 pm. No one will be admitted after 6 pm. Registration starts Tuesday, July 2.

Calling volunteers to set up our displays and prepare to be suspects for our mystery night on Friday, July 26. If you are crafty, we will have Egyptian lanterns to make. If you are interested in the Theater, we have 10 openings for suspects in our Who-Done-It. To be a suspect you must be available Friday afternoon and evening. This event will count as volunteer time: Get hours for Confirmation Requirements, National Honor Society and so on. Please confirm by registering starting Monday, July 8.
