This program is for youngsters in grades 7 through High Schoo.  You must register using  your own library card..  Movie starts at approximately 4 pm.  Laser Tag starts after 6 pm.  The library will be locked at closing at 6 pm and no one will be allowed to enter after 6.    All movies are either PG or PG13.  Registration startsTuesday,February 1.  Pizza, popcorn and drinks.

Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman.  Book will be available in the lobby starting Tuesday, January 26.  Caden Bosch is on a ship that's headed for the deepest point on Earth: Challenger Deep, the southern part of the Marianas Trench.

We will be discussing Son of the Mob by Gordan Korman.  Copies of this title will be available in the lobby starting 3 weeks prior to the discussion. 

Vince Luca is just like any other high school guy. His best friend, Alex, is trying to score vicariously through him; his brother is a giant pain; and his father keeps bugging him to get motivated. There is just one thing that really sets him apart for other kidsæhis father happens to be the head of a powerful crime organization.  How is he supposed to explain to a girl what his father does for a living? But when Vince finally meets one who seems to be worth the trouble, her family turns out to be the biggest problem of all. Because her father is an FBI agent-the one who wants to put his father away for good.

Help wrap up a shrub to give to Clarkstown residents for Arbor Day.  You need to register starting Monday, April 18.  Come dressed in old clothes, the shrubs can be messy.

Pick up a bayberry shrub for your yard.  This shrub is grown for its winter berries which are popular with birds and candle makers. Bayberry repells deer and insects with its fragrant berries and leaves.  It is also low-maintenance and salt-tolerant.  Does best in full sun.  One per household in the library district.
