Drift on over to the library for the Winter Reading Program beginning January 16. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk and receive your punch card and book bag. The program runs for 12 weeks, ending Saturday, April 6.
Who may enter?
The program is open to children ages 0-12 years.
How does it work?
Starting on Tuesday, January 16, children can begin tracking the number of books they check out and receive a decal to add to the BEEP BEEP Readers Wall.
· All materials must be checked out from the Colleyville Public Library.
· Books must be kept at least one night.
How do I count my reading?
Reading will be counted by book titles.
· 5 books = 1 decal to add to the BEEP BEEP Readers Wall and an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing!
· Children who check out books once a week for 10 out of the 12 week session will receive a cool prize.
- Keep track of check outs with the punch card attached to the bag received at registration.
- Punches are received at the Help Desk.

Are you interested in volunteering at the public library? Do you need community service hours for school? Volunteer opportunities are available to teens ages 13-18. To volunteer, please fill out an online application. You will receive an email with a permission slip attached. Have it signed by a parent if you are under 18, and return it to the library prior to attending one of the training sessions. Training sessions are MANDATORY and are held the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Thank you for volunteering!

Please bring a wrapped book if you would like to participate. Please note that there is also an evening Book Club Holiday Party on December 12, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. if you are unable to attend the morning event.
