In this 45-minute production of “The Wizard of Oz,” theatergoers will reacquaint themselves with Dorothy’s magical journey to the Land of Oz and have the opportunity to ask questions during the post-show Q & A. Find out why with a variety of cool optical illusions, a camera obscura, and periscopes as you learn about optics, light and reflection. At Watts Up, discover how and why static electricity is such a shock by watching a special demonstration with plasma balls, static tubes, circuit boards and the VanDeGraff Generator. At the Under Pressure Station, experiment with air pressure using an “Airzooka”, float ping pong balls and make marshmallows grow before your very eyes. At the Slime Booth, enjoy slippery, gooey fun with polymers! Transform two regular liquids into an oozing batch of your very own slime to take home.
