Tablets for Library Research [webinar]

Thursday April 23, 2015
11:00 AM until 12:00 PM

Tablets have become so popular, they have had a huge impact on the U.S. GNP, generating billions of dollars in revenue. They are not just convenient for reading email, surfing the Internet, and downloading eBooks, they are powerful tools for performing research and office tasks as well.

In this webinar, I will demonstrate how tablets can function like a desktop or laptop in the library, from searching publications databases, to creating and editing documents.

Though an iPad will be used for demonstration purposes, the content of the webinar can apply to many Android tablets as well.

This workshop will be led by Rita Gavelis, LibAssist - http://www.libassist.com/, rita@libassist.com.

Participants will receive GoToWebinar information in advance of the session.
