Making Google Work for YouMonday July 23, 2012

This 2 day-long (12 hour) workshop will cover the most popular and useful applications in the Google Apps suite of products. If you are a personal Google user, or if your school or district is moving to Google Apps for Education, this session is for you!
Covered will be: email, using Google's Gmail; Google calendar; Google Docs -- including the new Google Drive; spreadsheets; Google Forms; and, Sites, Google's web page creator. We'll also cover some of Google's many other services as time permits. Additional resources and useful tips on how to use these tools in the classroom will be provided.
Prerequisite: All attendees must have a Google account (Gmail) or create one before the workshop. Go to http://goo.gl/RHklB to create one. Please bring your username and password to the session.
There will be computers provided in the lab, but it is strongly recommended that you bring your laptop to the session.
Cost: $25/person for both days. Covers morning coffee/tea/water, and lunch.
The trainer is Michael Nieckoski from the Southwestern NH Educational Support Center at Keene State College. Michael has provided many hours of Google Apps training, has earned the Qualified Individual Certificate from Google, and is working his way towards becoming a Certified Google Trainer.
