Joe Shields of the Moraine Sailing Club offers an Introduction To Sailing Seminar that will demystify the Art of Sailing, explaining the key techniques required to earn US Sailing certification. Also discussed will be opportunities in the Western PA region to continue learning in on-the-water training as well as community sailing opportunities available after the series of lessons (without having to own your own boat).

Moraine Sailing Club is dedicated to promoting sailing in Western Pennsylvania. Organized by a Board of Directors, volunteer members actively participate in leading programs such as Racing, Learn to Sail,Community Sailing Program, Youth Sail Camp, and various social activities. The club includes members of all ages, experience, and backgrounds.
