Does your child love to create in the kitchen? Join Certified Culinary Arts Instructor and Literacy Specialist, Heather O'Keefe, to cook up some fun. Students will explore diversity, equity and inclusion as we eat our way through "Tomatoes in my Lunchbox" by Costantia Manoli! Participants will use their creativity with meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and herbs to make lunch box charcuterie boards. Bring along a bento box, if you have one, and learn to pack a unique lunch. Students will use their math and reading skills and enjoy eating the recipes they have created. For grades 1-4.
