School librarians are busier than ever and goal setting has evolved as yet another skill to master. This workshop is designed to turn what can seem like a cumbersome burden into an invaluable tool. Goal setting can give your efforts focus and purpose, saving you time. This goal-setting workshop will provide you the knowledge and tools to:
1. Recognize the benefits of setting goals
2. Create clear and attainable goals using the SMART approach
3. Determine how to measure and assess the goals you’ve created
4. Apply the goal setting process to DDMs and long range/strategic plans
Please bring a goal related project to work on (i.e. DDM, SMART goal, long range plan goal).
Co-sponsored with MSLA, this workshop is eligible for PDP's.
