Museum Pass Policy

i. Pickup/Return Passes will circulate for a period of 3 days. Late fees will be $25 per day. Replacement feeds for the pass will be the cost charged by each museum (6/19/18)
ii. Virtual Passes are only valid for the date of visit listed on the printed confirmation page. Virtual Passes may be printed either from home or the Library. (6/19/18)
iii. The passes are available to Great Neck Library Adult cardholders and Fee-Paying patrons only and are not renewable. The cost of these passes is to be charged to the Carter Unrestricted Fund. Museum Passes may be reserved via TixKeeper Online Reservation System one month in advance and will be limited to 2 passes per patron per month. Patrons are subject to the rules and regulations of the individual museums. (6/19/18)

Print on Demand Pass: Passes may be reserved up to thirty days in advance and can be printed from home or at the library. This pass will only be valid for the date of visit listed on the confirmation page so request the pass for the day you wish to use it.

Pickup / Return Pass: Pickup / Return Passes are available at Main and Parkville only. Reserve a pass for the day and location you plan to pick up and drop off. Main passes must be picked up and returned at Main. Parkville passes must be picked up and returned at Parkville. They MAY NOT be returned in the book drop. Passes may be checked out for 3 days.

Museum Passes may be borrowed by Great Neck Library patrons over 18 years of age with good standing. Patrons reserve no more than 1 pass per day and no more than 2 passes every thirty days.

The Library is NOT responsible:

If the museum is closed
if the Library must close for an emergency
If the museum refuses to accept the pass
If the museum accepts the pass for certain exhibits and not others
If the person who had the pass before you does not bring it back on time

Always check your museum's website or call them before visiting for unexpected closings, changes in hours, updates on exhibits, etc. The Library is not responsible for checking museum hours of operations for patrons. The late fee is $25 per day. Passes may only be checked out using the card under which it was reserved.

This pass is can be used to gain admission at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum no more than seven days after the date of reservation. If you need to reschedule your visit, please do so with the library. Passes presented more than seven days after your reservation date will not be accepted for entry.
This pass provides free admission for up to four adults or students, plus $5 admission for a maximum of two additional guests. Children under 12 years of age are always admitted for free.

Also provides free parking and coat check, access to Science Playground and Rocket Park Mini Golf course (open April to November, weather permitting) and discounts for 3D Theater, Science Shop, and Cafe. Not valid during special events (World Maker Faire, MineFaire, etc.). This pass must be presented at the time of admission to claim member benefits. Membership can only be used by patrons of member library. Not valid for group admission.
