Please note: Some of the museums are also still requiring customers to

reserve a time slot in addition to using the library pass (please visit the venue's website).

The Bloomfield Public Library offers patrons free or discounted admission to many area attractions! Museum passes may be borrowed using an adult library card (one pass per family per day). Library museum passes cannot be combined with any other coupon or discount offer.

Printable Passes

To make your own reservation online, you MUST be able to print the completed pass when reserving. If you cannot print your pass, you can make a reservation by calling either library and the library will print the pass for you. You may pick it up using our curbside service.

You will need your valid adult library card to reserve a pass.
Bloomfield and out-of-town patrons (in the same system) may reserve/print passes online or at the library.
Please call the library if you need assistance reserving a pass.
Passes may be reserved and printed up to 30 days in advance of your visit.
Passes are valid ONLY for the specific day reserved.
Limit of TWO pass per day per family with a maximum of EIGHT unique pass reservations in any 30 day period.

Non-Printable Passes

The following passes CANNOT be printed. They must be picked up at the library in person. We will hold the pass for curbside up to one day in advance. These passes circulate for 3 days.

CT State Park Centers & Historic Buildings Day Pass 2021/2022 Check availability (pick up at Prosser only). Information about the pass: This pass waives entrance fees for the building or museum for two adults and four children, 12 and under. This pass is valid only at the following Connecticut State Park locations: Dinosaur, Fort Trumbull, and Gillette Castle State Parks. There are no parking fees at state parks and forests for CT residents.This pass cannot be used for camping or special events.
Beardsley Zoo Check availability (pick up at Prosser only).
Maritime Aquarium No Library Pass Program at this time.
Mystic Aquarium No Library Pass Program at this time. Discount tickets direct at website: mysticaquarium.org/timed-tickets
Springfield Museums Check availabilty (pick up at Prosser only). If you would like to purchase a ticket at Springfield Museums using the library pass, you will need to do this transaction in person on the day of your visit at the Springfield Museum Welcome Center. If using this pass, be aware of Library blackout dates. This pass cannot be used on blackout dates. Pass Information: Buy one full price admission and receive a 50% discount on the second admission of equal or lesser value. The pass may be used for up to 6 guests per visit. This pass may also be used for Roaring Brook Nature Center. Roaring Brook does not require timed ticket entry.

DURING SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS WINTERFEST, PUMPKIN PATCH AND EASTER BUNNY FUN DAY HALF PRICE ADMISSION PREVAILS. THE PASS CAN NOT BE USED FOR RAILS TO THE DARKSIDE OR STORYTIME TROLLEY. This pass admits two (2) adults and two (2) children under 12 in to the Museum. May not be combined with other coupons and passes. Does not include special event fees when applicable. Please note: Florence Griswold Museum charges an event surcharge of $5 per person over 12 (even with free pass) during our special fall event Wee Faerie Village (dates vary yearly). This charge is applied whether visitors intend to see the faerie houses or not. Children 12 and under are admitted free thanks to an anonymous grant.

Please note there is special pricing for Wee Faerie Village, October 1-31. All visitors are responsible for the additional special event admission. During this time, Museum passes, Library passes, 2-for-1 offers, and other discounts apply to the regular admission fee.

This pass admits two guests for a tour of the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. Connect the past to the present in a facilitated group tour through Stowe’s home about 19th-century social issues, such as slavery and the role of women, that resonate today. Visitors MUST have the physical library pass with them (even with tickets) to allow entry for free. At this time, we are unable to offer digital passes.

The Library Membership Program will now entitle your library patrons to "check out" a coupon that gives them a steep discount to general tours of the Mark Twain House & Museum. Coupon holders can buy 2 tickets for the price of one full priced adult ticket OR one adult ticket and two child tickets for the price of one adult ticket. The coupon applies only to the general Mark Twain House tour and does not to any specialty tours. It can be used once per party, per visit.

1. Got to MarkTwainHouse.org and click on the "Book your Tour" button on the home page.

2. Choose the Mark Twain House Tour (general tour daily). The library coupon does not apply to any other types of tours that we offer. You should select a date and time you wish to tour the house.

3. You should enter one of the promo codes listed above and click apply.

4. Click "Select seats from the map". The number of green dots shows how many spots are left on the tour. Click one green dot and add the special

$12.00 promo rate, then pick a second green dot and add the other $12.00 promo ticket. If you have three people (1 adult and 2 children), you would select 3 dots at the $8.00 promo rate.

5. Add tickets to your cart, complete all the fields and click the "Place Order" button. The patron will get an email confirmation containing their ETickets.

Patrons will be asked to present their coupon either on paper or on their mobile device upon check-in.

The pass admits 2 adults and 2 children under 16. Pass is for gallery admission only. Children under 5 admitted for free.

MASS MoCA Member ID: 479182. You must print this reservation confirmation and present it at time of visit. You may print the confirmation page or email confirmation. Valid only for the reserved date of visit. MASS MoCA is accepting library pass admissions. Like all other visits, using a pass requires reserving timed-entry tickets. In addition to printing this pass, please reserve your time slot at: massmoca.org.

Hours of Operation: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. weekends only until May 15; starting May 15, open 7 days a week--weather permitting--10 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed December, January, February & March; Last admission is 30 min. before closing time. Call for up-to-date schedule information.

Library pass includes up to five free admissions for each visit (one visit per day). Ten percent discount in our gift shop (excluding animal feed). The pass does NOT provide entrance for special events.

Please note that The Zoo in Forest Park and Education Center is an independent non-profit located inside of a city park. The City of Springfield charges a daily parking fee of $3 per in-state and $5 per out-of-state passenger car CASH ONLY. All buses and larger vehicles are charged $15 per vehicle. Please note that these prices are subject to change as The City of Springfield decides the parking admission prices.
