Ladies Pamper and Paint Night via Zoom
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Set some time aside just for YOU! Join us alone or meet up on Zoom with a friend and relax with a cool beverages while you learn how to make a beautiful art project for your home, led by local artist Michelle! Don’t miss a night of great friends, conversation and relaxation! Simply register, and a Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to the program.

IMAGE ARE EXAMPLES! Michelle will teach us how to create a rustic wood look on a wood tray with spring flowers, either in a jar or a watering can. There will be step-by-step instructions, or you are always welcome to paint your own idea with guidance from Michelle!

To prepare for the program, you will need the following supplies:

  • Acrylic paints: brown, green, white, black and blue. Yellow (flowers), pink (flowers) and red (ladybug) are optional, but choose your flower color(s).
  • Tray (this one is from Michael's, but you can choose a size/design that suits your decor or gift-giving tastes) https://www.michaels.com/12in-natural-wood-square-tray-by-ashland/10654334.html. Remember, Michael's always has coupons, so money off is always a bonus!
  • Paint brushes (I know many of you have different sized brushes from our previous classes.  If you need brushes, please reach out to me).

Adult Take and Make: Cactus Painted Rock Garden

Try out a new project from the comfort of your own home! Each month, we will be featuring a different take and make craft for adults.

This month's craft is a cactus painted rock garden. Three rocks, paint, paint brushes, and instructions are included. You will need to provide a container to create your rock garden. Registration is required to reserve a kit.

Book Cooks
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Young chefs of any age can join us via Zoom for a monthly make-from-scratch cooking program with a focus on delicious recipes, family time and fun! We'll even read a related story at the conclusion of the program! This program increases children's math, problem solving, vocabulary and literacy skills, while tying in science, geography and culture. Register online for each program your child will be attending, and a Zoom link will be emailed prior to the program.

Program Supplies List: Small tray, parchment paper, small 2 tbsp. ice cream scoop (or spoon), medium bowl, plastic wrap, measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, rubber spatula, rolling pin, cookie sheet, dough circle cutter (or an object that is approximately 3.75 inches), empty egg carton (optional but great for younger children), air tight container for freezing
 
Program Ingredients List: vanilla ice cream (1.5 cups), sweet glutinous rice flour (1 cup) (link to purchase on Amazon), granulated sugar (1/4 cup), water, food coloring of your choice (optional), cornstarch
