Levels Online Theatre presents SHE KILLS MONSTERS: VIRTUAL REALMS

The Levels Teen Center has moved our theatre performances online!  She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms by Qui Nguyen will be performed LIVE by teen actors in their homes, and livestreamed to audiences at home, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 3, 4 and 5 at 8:00 p.m.

She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms is a coming-of-age story about high school cheerleader Agnes Evans, who is dealing with the death of her 15-year-old sister, Tilly.  When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into a fantasy adventure in the imaginary gaming world that was Tilly’s refuge.  In the game, Agnes encounters homicidal fairies, gamer-bro demons, five-headed dragons – and the truth about Tilly's secret life and love.  The play has been specially adapted by the author for virtual online performance.

YOU CAN REGISTER FOR A DIGITAL TICKET BEGINNING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16 (please make sure you register for the correct day -- Thursday, Friday or Saturday -- that you wish to attend).  All registrants will be emailed a digital ticket no later than the day of the performance that contains a link and log-in information to watch that particular performance.  If you have any difficulty registering or have any questions, please contact Barry Weil at bweil@greatnecklibrary.org .

The all-student production staff includes director Leah Schader, producers Aliza Fine and Maurice Zalta, art designer/choreographer Britt Trachtenberg, original music composer Samuel Calto, costume designers Gabriella Lopez and Nina Zar, and technical consultant Tyler "T-Rex" Hakimian.  The cast, made up of local middle school, high school and college students, includes Samuel Calto, Giana Colombo, Tals Elyaho, Sam Friedmann, Kylie Hoffman, Emily Hyman, Gabriella Lopez, Tiana Newman, Daliah Segal, Ben Pitt Stoller, Jessica Tamari, Britt Trachtenberg and Nina Zar.  She Kills Monsters is a drama with comic and fantasy elements, and deals with some mature themes.
