44th Annual Prose and Poetry Contest DEADLINE

This creative writing contest is open to Ringwood elementary, high school and college students, and all Lakeland High School Students. Participating students will be asked to submit original prose or poetry with a theme of their choice. The last day for submissions is February 28, 2018. Flyers containing the contest rules and entry forms are available at the library, as well as the schools.

Toddler Time is geared towards babies ages 0 to 36 months and their caregivers. This 30 minute story time will include nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays and movements, followed by a period of play for babies and a chance for caregivers to chat!  Class meets every Thursday morning and is open to residents and non-residents.  Drop-ins are always welcome!

Irish Music Concert

The Ringwood Public Library is proud to present the return of Guitarist Mark Kilianski and Fiddler Deb Shebish performing a free Irish Music Concert.  More than playing a different healthy dose of all types of traditional Irish dance and fiddle tunes - jigs, reels, airs, ballads, pub songs - many of these tunes and songs have stories that go along with them, demonstrating the rich history and culture of Ireland.  You will imagine yourself at a pub in Dublin while clapping along and cheering.

No registration is necessary for this rollicking free concert and all ages are invited.

Light refreshments will be served.
